Meet Arnoldo "Jr" Hirales, the musical mastermind behind Proyecto Insomnio's unique sound. He's the composer, co-producer, and editor, weaving together the diverse influences that make our music so captivating. 🎶

His time with the norteño band "D'Inztinto" allowed him to hone his songwriting skills and incorporate his original compositions. And in 2017, he joined forces with Mike Armenta to create the groundbreaking fusion that is Proyecto Insomnio. 🚀

NATALIE ARMENTA - Executive PRODUCER

Originally from San Francisco, Bay Area, her Administration began at the California Ear Institute at Stanford. That transitioned into Administration with a Law Firm in Silicon Valley specializing in Patent & Trademark Law for Intellectual Property. After meeting her husband, Miguel, her love of music expanded into Management and PR for his musical career, including processing immigration visas, bookings, PR, scheduling TV and Radio interviews, press conferences, travel and tour itinerary. Let’s put it this way, we could not have done it without her.

NICOLAS V MANESCU - BASS

Bass Player / Composer

Nic started at a very early age of 8 yrs old, hiding from his parents his first teachers who introduce him to the bass were his uncles who used to rehearse in his house with his dad in a rock band. Later when he was about 13 yrs of age started his first ever band to play at social events all kinds of styles of music from rock to cumbias. Later in life he played on tours and recordings of big figures like Joel Solis (Bukis) Christian Castro, Pablo Montero and LiranRoll just to mention a few. He had the oportunitty to work alongside with famous producer Manuel Casares at his renowned music studio.

MIGUEL PEREZ - PERCUSION

My musical foundation was laid at the young age of nine, inspired by the guidance of my grandfather and father who provided the essential building blocks for my artistic development. Their encouragement led me to join my first band at fifteen, a formative experience where I honed skills in collaboration and interpreting the works of other artists. Driven by a deep passion for music, I have since explored a diverse range of genres, significantly broadening my cultural knowledge and musical perspective. This dedication defines my approach and presence within the contemporary music scene. I am a versatile multi-instrumentalist with proficiency in percussion, including specific instruments like tarolettas, congas, and the güiro.

ERIC GARATE - TROMBONE

Trombone

With two decades of professional music experience, my career began at the age of 13. I had the invaluable opportunity to develop my foundational skills alongside seasoned musicians within an established professional band, receiving guidance crucial to my artistic growth. A pivotal moment arrived at age 19 when I joined the internationally recognized band, La Adictiva. This position significantly elevated my reputation and standing within the music community, marking a key stage in my now 20-year journey as a dedicated musician.

VICTOR FLORES - TUBA

Tuba

My musical journey commenced during my youth with participation in my hometown's municipal band, an experience that provided a solid foundation for my artistic development. This led to an invitation to join the more prestigious 'Santa Martha' ensemble, where I significantly honed my musical skills. Seeking advanced training, I relocated to Mazatlan and enrolled in the esteemed music school founded by German Lizarraga, solidifying my transition into a professional musician. Now, with a career spanning over 15 years, I have had the privilege of performing internationally, traveling the world fueled by a deep passion for my craft.

LUIS GODOY - SAXOPHONE

Saxophone

From a family of versatile musicians, my career began under my father's mentorship playing percussion and harmonies in his band. After five years, I added tuba and wind instruments, gaining significant versatility by covering various roles. Now specializing in saxophone, I remain a highly adaptable multi-instrumentalist. With over 15 years of experience collaborating with numerous diverse artists, I am ready for the next chapter in my musical journey.

EDER AYALA - CLARINETE

Clarinete

With over two decades of professional music experience, my path began at age nine under the guidance of my musician father and grandfather. My early training focused on wind instruments like the clarinet, trombone, trumpet, and tuba, complemented by percussion. Joining 'Band Los Plebes' at fifteen proved foundational, allowing me to refine my skills, especially with wind instruments. A significant highlight includes representing the Folkloric Company of Sinaloa through the Institute of Culture, performing in states such as Tabasco, Jalisco, and Zacatecas. Building on this extensive background, I am currently open to engaging in new and challenging projects.

FEDERICO FLORES SAXOPHONE

Saxophone

A seasoned musician with 20 years of professional experience, I am an accomplished saxophonist recognized for dynamic performances across a wide spectrum of genres, including pop, rock, orchestral, and salsa. My performance background is highlighted by engagements with prestigious Symphonic and Chamber Orchestras. Beyond performance, I possess significant expertise as a master teacher of the clarinet, dedicated to nurturing musical talent. Reflecting on a deeply rewarding career thus far, I am enthusiastic about embracing new projects and collaborations that will continue to broaden my musical journey and professional growth.

RAMIRO AGUERO - VOCALS

Vocals

Ramiro's musical journey began remarkably early. Immersed in music from the age of five, he gained his initial exposure attending children's singing contests and accompanying his father to professional gigs. His performing career started with providing backup vocals for Sinaloense style bands, laying a foundation in regional Mexican music. By fourteen, his talent had already taken him across the globe, touring internationally as both a sought-after backup vocalist and a solo performer for various artists. Having honed his craft and leadership skills by forming his own bands over the years, Ramiro now brings this wealth of diverse experience and a unique perspective to Proyecto Insomnio, eager to infuse the Tejano soundscape with a fresh and distinctive flare.

EDUARDO “YAYO” ANGuIANO COMPOSER

Composer

Music has been a lifelong passion, ignited in early childhood. My hands-on journey began at 12 when I first picked up a guitar, and by 13, I was already leading my first Tejano band. A pivotal move back to my birthplace, Monterrey, at 15 coincided with starting high school and discovering my voice as a songwriter. Just two years later, I stepped onto the professional stage, performing with an established Tejano band. That early dedication and experience paved the way for today, where my original songs have achieved international recognition, earning prestigious Billboard and Grammy nominations.
